We’re excited to celebrate the grand opening of the new @capedcu Student Success Center at @collegeofwesternidaho !

Inside the new space, our team designed, engineered, fabricated, and installed two standout features: a custom donor wall and a parametric slat wall featuring a LED otter sign right in the center!

It’s always exciting to see these projects go from concept → fabrication → installation → reality, and even better to see them become part of a space that will serve the CWI community for years to come.

Trademark is hiring a Senior Project Manager + Place-Based Designer to lead complex, multidisciplinary projects from early vision through fabrication and installation.

This is a hands-on hybrid role for someone who can hold the whole project: the client relationship, creative vision, team, details, budget, and realities of bringing something physical into the world.

You might come from environmental graphic design, architecture, industrial design, experiential design, placemaking, fabrication, construction, or another discipline where ideas become physical. More than anything, you’re curious about what makes a place distinct, skilled at turning ambiguity into forward movement, and comfortable bringing different people and disciplines together to make the work stronger.

You’re the person clients want to work with and team members want beside them. You lead without ego, solve unfamiliar problems with curiosity, and care deeply about creating places that feel meaningful to the people who experience them.

How do you celebrate 100 years of Boise Airport hi

How do you celebrate 100 years of Boise Airport history in a single sign? It all started with a deep dive into the archives.

As we worked alongside the @boiseartsandhistory team, we spent hours digging through historic photographs and archival materials from the airport’s first 100 years. During that process, two elements immediately stood out: the original Boise Airport exterior signage and the beautifully designed architectural pillars that helped define the character of the early terminal.

Those historic details became the foundation for the design. We explored ways to blend the airport’s rich history with a modern interpretation that would celebrate a century of aviation in Boise while feeling right at home in today’s airport.

Once the early concepts were approved, it was time to shift from inspiration to execution and start bringing the design to life.

Big projects start with small prototypes. 👀

We’ve got a large parametric slat wall coming down the pipeline, so our team built this 2’ × 2’ prototype to validate our approach before fabrication begins. This miniature version allowed us to test different slot tolerances, refine the joinery, and dial in the perfect fit.
So, how does a parametric slat wall come to life?

It all starts with a 3D CAD model. That model is then sliced into the thickness of the chosen material, where the joinery and mounting system are designed. Next, the cut files are sent to our CNC router, which precisely cuts each piece. From there, it’s like assembling a giant 3D puzzle—slotting every component together until the flowing form begins to emerge.

✈️ Have you been through the Boise Airport lately?

✈️ Have you been through the Boise Airport lately?

If so, you’ve probably spotted the model airplane and retro-inspired hanging sign we had the privilege of designing, engineering, fabricating, and installing as part of the Boise Airport’s 100th Anniversary celebration.

The installation pays tribute to a century of Boise aviation history, with historical banners suspended from the airplane’s wings that invite travelers to learn about the airport’s evolution over the past 100 years.

While this timelapse makes the installation look quick, countless hours of design, engineering, fabrication, and teamwork went into bringing these pieces to life. From researching the airport’s history to assembling the full-scale airplane in our shop, this project challenged our team creatively and technically every step of the way.

The next time you’re traveling through the airport, be sure to arrive a little early and take a moment to explore the exhibit.

He shoots... HE SCORES! ⚽🙌

We finally had the opportunity to catch an @acboise match, and it did not disappoint. From the energy of the crowd to a beautiful Boise sunset and, of course, an AC Boise victory, it was an unforgettable evening.

What made it even more special was seeing the environmental graphic elements we engineered, fabricated, and installed come to life on game day. Watching fans gather around them, snap photos, and interact with the space was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. These installations do more than communicate information—they help create meaningful connections between fans, the team, and the space itself.

A huge thank you to @againsthq for the incredible designs and partnership throughout the project. Seeing everything come together and become part of the fan experience made all the hard work worthwhile.

And to top it all off—AC Boise brought home the win. We’d call that a pretty great night. ⚽🏆
